Rick Carlson

With more than 33 years of experience in public education, Rick has been a part of Don Stevens + Associates since its inception in 2000.

Rick taught social studies early in his career in educations. His leadership skills were noted early and he held the following administrative positions: assistant high school principal, principal, and assistant to the superintendent. Prior to his role with Don Stevens & Associates, Rick served as superintendent of the Neenah School District for nearly 10 years.

Rick earned two bachelor’s degrees, one in Economics and a second in Secondary Education/Social Studies, from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. He earned a master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, with an emphasis on educational leadership. He has completed additional graduate work at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
